I set up RGC Solutions to bring clarity, confidence, and a bit of calm to a world that can often feel unnecessarily complicated. I wanted to create a space where organisations could access straight-talking, flexible and affordable support.
I never sat down and mapped out a career plan. I got a degree in music, and then spent some time travelling, before falling into an entry level role that was meant to be a short term solution to having no money (see: spent some time travelling).
That short term solution turned into over a decade working across most areas of a business support organisation: developing projects, building partnerships, and delivering programmes that helped businesses and communities grow.
I learnt on the job. I know what it’s like to feel daunted by a blank page (or a 50 page tender specification) and not knowing where to start – and that’s why my approach is practical, straight-talking and built on genuine ‘real-life’ experience.
During my career (that I didn’t realise was becoming my career) I have written more than 80 bids, secured multi-million-pounds across grant funding and contracts, and developed projects that have gone on to win King’s Awards for Enterprise. I’ve built partnerships, navigated impossible (never) deadlines, and helped to shape initiatives across so many diverse themes, including sustainability, skills, wellbeing, growth and innovation.
Through RGC Solutions, I work with SMEs, charities, and social enterprises to secure funding and contracts, strengthen their strategy, and build projects that deliver impact. I’m as passionate about social value as I am about success, weaving purpose into every piece of work – whether that’s through subsidised support for small charities or helping businesses understand how to embed social impact into what they do.
